Turkish Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced disciplinary decisions made by the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) in 2026 according to a statement on his social media account.

The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) Second Chamber made substantive decisions regarding 525 judges and public prosecutors in 2026.

According to the announcements, 333 judicial members received various disciplinary penalties from the HSK Second Chamber.

The disciplinary measures included 168 warnings, 24 reprimands, and 23 salary cuts. Additionally, 30 judicial members were issued relocation penalties, and 4 had their career advancement suspended.


Minister Akın Gürlek stated that most judges and public prosecutors perform their duties in accordance with the law, conscience, and professional honor.

The Minister added that the ministry is fighting crime and criminal organizations with determination regardless of rank, title, or influence.
