In related announcements, Mike Flanagan's miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's "Carrie" will premiere on October 7, 2026, on Prime Video. Flanagan said during his SDCC panel that the show would be a big surprise for the audience.
The second season of "Dark Matter" will premiere on August 28, 2026, on Apple TV+. "Matchbox: The Movie," starring John Cena as former soldier turned spy Sean Walker, is set for October 9, 2026, also on Apple TV.
