Argentine police used tear gas and rubber bullets against demonstrators in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday. The protest took place in front of the seat of the Senate.
The demonstration was held in response to a controversial bill aimed at strengthening private property. While the gathering initially started peacefully, clashes broke out between the police and participants as night fell, according to an AFP correspondent.
During the clashes in Buenos Aires, police officers were attacked with stones.
