A shooting occurred at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province, Thailand, on Friday, August 7.
The school is located on the northwestern outskirts of Bangkok. Police have identified the perpetrator as a student.
Lt Col Pasakorn Chaitawiwong, the head of the Plai Bang subdistrict police department, told Reuters that the number of deaths was still unknown.
Reports regarding injuries vary. Thai PBS reported that 10 to 15 people were injured at the high school, while other reports stated at least 10 students were wounded.

This incident follows a shooting in February in the Hat Yai district of southern Thailand, where a teacher died and a student was injured.
