A fire broke out at the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, on Saturday following a drone attack, according to reports from local officials and residents. The refinery is owned by Bashneft, which is controlled by the Russian state energy company Rosneft.
Bashkiria Republic Governor Radi Khabirov confirmed that drones attacked Ufa, though he claimed the attack was repelled. Khabirov stated that downed drones fell into the industrial area and caused smoke, but reported no victims.

The General Staff also reported strikes on energy facilities in Russian-controlled parts of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, and drone strikes targeting the industrial zone of Nizhnekamskneftekhim in the Tatarstan region of Russia.

Casualties in Kyiv
According to Ukrainian authorities, Russia conducted a missile attack on Kyiv, Ukraine, overnight before Saturday. The attack resulted in at least nine deaths and 28 injuries.
Among the 28 injured in Kyiv were boys aged 13 and 17. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said 17 injured people have been hospitalized.
