The European Commission has disbursed €3.47 billion to Ukraine under the defence window of the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan, the Commission announced.

The funds are intended for the procurement of drones, long-range jet-powered drones, missiles, air defence systems, and Gripen fighter jets, according to the Commission.
Additional financing for drones, ammunition, air defence systems, and missiles is expected to be approved in the coming weeks, the Commission said.
The Ukraine Support Loan program totals €90 billion, comprising €60 billion for defence capacity and defence industry strengthening and €30 billion for budget support for state functioning and basic public services, according to the Commission.
A total of €28.3 billion is expected to be disbursed in 2026 to support Ukraine's defence industry under the program, the Commission stated.
