Russia announced that a Ukrainian drone attack targeted the resort town of Gelendzhik and the nearby village of Arkhipo-Osipovka on the Black Sea coast.
Social media footage shows a drone hitting a beach area in the resort, followed by a loud explosion, though the footage has not been verified by independent sources.

Local authorities stated that the death toll in Arkhipo-Osipovka rose to 4 following the impact of drone debris, according to a statement from local authorities.
The attack targeted civilian infrastructure.
Following instructions from the governor of the Krasnodar Krai region, specialized emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Ukraine has not yet made an official statement regarding the attack. Both Russia and Ukraine claim they do not intentionally target civilians during the war.
