Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis sustained slight injuries after falling from his bicycle on Monday in Crete, Greece, according to Greek press reports.
Following the accident, Mitsotakis was taken by health teams to the emergency department of a hospital in Hanya, Crete, where he received medical treatment.
Medical checks conducted at the hospital found no serious health problems, and Mitsotakis did not require a hospital stay.
The Prime Minister was discharged and left the hospital after receiving treatment.
While at the hospital, Mitsotakis chatted with doctors, health workers, and patients.
The injuries sustained during the incident included scrapes on his body and a slight injury to his hand.
