The Times of Israel reported that the number of military attacks in the Gaza Strip has decreased due to the new approval requirement. A formal ceasefire has been in place in the Gaza war since October 2025, although deadly confrontations and attacks continue to occur.
Nickolay Mladenov, the High Representative of the Gaza Peace Council, criticized Israel's attacks in the Gaza Strip, stating they killed civilians and destroyed essential medical supplies. Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey issued a joint statement declaring that Israeli violations endanger de-escalation and worsen civilian suffering.
