Japan, the United Kingdom, and Italy Select Site are collaborating on the development and assembly of a next-generation fighter jet. A designated factory is expected to serve as the Japanese hub for the project.
The three partner nations are currently discussing specific production roles. Britain plans to establish its center in Warton, while Italy Select Site will set up operations in Turin.
Production Timeline and Locations
The Japanese center is scheduled to be established at the MITSUBISHI plant in Nagoya by the end of this year.
British engineers have already commenced involvement in the aircraft's design at the designated facility.
