U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday afternoon, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The meeting follows the dismissal of charges last week against those charged with damaging the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.
President Trump criticized Pirro's handling of the case, stating she 'choked' in the Reflecting Pool matter and 'folded like an umbrella' in dropping the charges.

A White House official declined to comment on the meeting and referred queries to Trump's earlier comments in the Oval Office regarding Pirro's decision.
While two people familiar with the meeting stated that Pirro's job appeared safe for now, other sources reported that Trump has privately mused to aides about whether he should fire her, noting that no decision is final until the President acts.
