Severe weather is in the forecast for Tuesday. A Yellow Alert has been issued tracking severe storms with heavy rain, wind and hail. Strong to severe storms are possible Tuesday night with damaging winds and heavy rain.
In New York City, more storms are set for Tuesday, bringing a tornado and flash flood threat again. The Pittsburgh area also faces severe weather chances, while south-central Pennsylvania may see damaging winds and flash flooding.
Another round of storms is expected Tuesday, but otherwise a quiet week. Wildfire smoke is giving way to powerful thunderstorms in the Midwest and Northeast, where potentially intense thunderstorms are expected Monday and Tuesday.
