The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into Wyylde, a social network described as a "libertine" platform, following media coverage of a rape case connected to the site.
According to reports, 19 men have been indicted in what is being referred to as the "Libertine" rapes case. It has also been reported that some of the rapes were broadcast live on Wyylde.
The investigation by the Paris prosecutor's office was confirmed as a fact.
