More than 170 police officers conducted a large-scale operation in the Aachen region of Germany during the morning hours. The action focused on combating drug trafficking and property crime.

The enforcement measures included searches in Aachen, Würselen, and Herzogenrath. Two SEK (Spezialeinsatzkommando) units supported the local Aachen police during the operation.

Focus on Bismarckstraße

A central location for the operation was a house on Bismarckstraße in Aachen. Authorities suspected the building housed a dealer ring, with drugs allegedly sold from two apartments within the property.

Investigators also suspected that a drug kitchen used to produce crack and other cocaine derivatives was located at the site of the investigation.

Seizures and ongoing investigation

Police searched seven buildings during the operation and seized drugs. Specific details regarding the exact quantities of the seized substances have not yet been released.
