Pop Mart has opened a new two-storey store at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, with the second floor housing Southeast Asia's first Pop Bakery. The bakery offers 45 different desserts, pastries, and drinks, with prices ranging from 5 to 32 Singapore dollars.
The official opening date of the new Pop Mart store and Pop Bakery is in July. Some sources list the date as Wednesday, July 30; in 2025, July 30 falls on a Wednesday, suggesting a possible discrepancy.
Pop Bakery offers two Singapore-exclusive items: the Twinkle Twinkle Coconut Mousse for S$18, available in two variations, and the Pucky Xiao Long Bao Dessert for S$18. The bakery is open from 11am to 9:30pm Monday to Thursday, and from 10am to 9:30pm Friday to Sunday. Dine-in requires a reservation, is limited to 60 minutes, and has a minimum spend of S$40 per person and S$80 per table for meet-and-greet.
Pop Mart tested its bakery concept with over 30 mobile dessert trucks in China before opening its first permanent Pop Bakery in Qinhuangdao, China in April. The company plans to open dessert stores in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and is evaluating opening Pop Bakery stores in Europe and the US.
Jeff Zhang expects Pop Mart to open more duplexes over the next few years, and said that more store openings overseas will help support Pop Mart's top-line growth, especially in North America and Europe where it remains underpenetrated. Non-toy revenue is expected to account for more than 20% of Pop Mart's revenue in 2030, up from 12% in 2025.
Pop Mart is also working on a Labubu film with Sony Pictures and has expanded its Pop Land theme park in Beijing. The launch comes amid softer domestic sales and normalising demand after a strong intellectual property cycle in 2025. Analysts said improved inventory availability has reduced the scarcity-driven traffic that helped form the brand’s identity. Pop Mart's year-on-year revenue growth is expected to further slow in the second half of 2026 due to the high-base effect.
