A new representative Insa poll conducted for the Neubrandenburg 'Nordkurier' suggests that a coalition of the SPD, The Left, and The Greens could mathematically be possible in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with a combined 44 percent of the vote.

According to the poll, the SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany) would receive 29 percent of the votes if the state election were held this coming Sunday. That is one percentage point higher than in the last Insa poll at the end of June.
The Left remains at 11 percent, while The Greens have increased by one percentage point to 5 percent. The AfD (Alternative for Germany) would receive 36 percent of the votes, one percentage point higher than in June. In the 2021 state election, the AfD received 19.3 percent.
The CDU (Christian Democratic Union) stands at 10 percent, the same as in June. The Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW) lost two percentage points compared to June and now stands at 4 percent. The FDP (Free Democratic Party) is at 3 percent, which is 2.8 percentage points lower than in 2021.
The Insa poll has a margin of error of plus/minus 3.1 percentage points. It is based on an online survey of 1,000 people conducted from August 4 to August 11. The state election in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will be held on September 20.
