Two women and a nine-year-old boy have been rescued from the woods in Michigan after a tubing trip went wrong. The group, identified as Jazman Hock, her cousin Sarah Vida, and Vida's son Kayden Kovalcik, had been missing for three days.
The trio was first reported missing following a missed dentist appointment. Their disappearance occurred after they struck logs, causing their inflatable tubes to burst and leaving them stranded.
According to WWMT, the group survived the three days by consuming protein bars, flowers, and bark.
Rescue operation near Muskegon River
Michigan State Police released bodycam footage on Monday, 10 August, showing the rescue efforts. The footage depicts rescuers moving through tall grass near the Muskegon River, where the trio was located.
