The Arctic is warming faster than any other region. For 20 years, the Arctic Report Card has chronicled this transformation. Now, the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is pulling its support from the climate and environment report it has previously helped with.
The 2026 Arctic Report Card lead editor, Rick Thoman, said that participants were informed on Monday that they would no longer receive assistance from NOAA.
