US President Donald Trump's pick to lead the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Brian Johnson, is set to testify before the US Senate Banking Committee on Thursday morning. Johnson previously served in various roles at the agency during Trump's first administration.
The CFPB is currently led by acting head Russell Vought, who also serves as Director of the US Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
