Turkish Airlines has completed the longest non-stop flight in its history, flying from Perth, Australia, to Turin, Italy. The operation was a special charter flight for the Juventus football squad following their tour in Australia.
The flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER with tail registration TC-LJE, surpassed the airline's previous non-stop duration record. That previous record was set in 2016 on the Istanbul–Santiago route with a duration of 16 hours and 15 minutes. The new flight exceeded that duration by 11 minutes.
