Two firefighting aircraft assigned to support the fight against ongoing forest fires in Spain have returned to Turkey after completing their tasks.

Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced the return via social media, noting that the aircraft had also been deployed to France prior to their mission in Spain.

Minister Yumaklı expressed gratitude to the pilots and technical teams of the General Directorate of Forestry for their efforts in Spain. He stated that Turkey will continue to share resources and experience to protect forests under the 'Green Homeland' concept.
