Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Communications Directorate, the conversation covered bilateral relations between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, as well as regional and global issues.
During the call, President Erdoğan expressed that Türkiye is saddened by the attacks against Saudi Arabia.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye is working for the establishment of lasting peace and the prevalence of peace and stability in the region.
Gaza Peace Plan and regional developments
Addressing the Gaza Peace Plan, President Erdoğan stated that it is essential for Israel to strictly adhere to the roadmap for the second phase of the plan for it to succeed.
President Erdoğan added that Türkiye is following developments very closely.
