An Apache helicopter crashed in Bell County, Texas, during Fort Hood operations, killing two members of the military, according to Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
The crash reportedly occurred at approximately 1:34 pm local time.
Cliff Coleman, a public information officer for the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, confirmed that two people were on board and both were deceased following the crash.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott requested prayers for the families of the deceased and the Fort Hood community, stating that Texas is forever indebted to those who serve the state and the nation.
