Tatarstan Attack Claims Many Lives
In Nizhnekamsk, in Russia's republic of Tatarstan, at least 12 people were killed in a Ukrainian drone attack, according to authorities. The government in Tatarstan's capital Kazan said 39 people were wounded in the attack.

Nizhnekamsk's mayor Radmir Belyaev reported a massive Ukrainian drone attack on industrial facilities and civilian objects, with deaths. Ukrainian media reported that one of Russia's largest oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk was attacked; there was no official confirmation.
Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian oil industry facilities, aiming to cut off energy export revenues for Moscow's war machine. Civilians have increasingly been killed in Ukrainian counterattacks recently.
