Ukrainian drones struck a Russian S-400 'Triumf' air defense system position in Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Krai, near the site known as 'Putin's Palace', according to a Ukrainian military commander.
The strike was reported by Robert Brovdi, callsign 'Magyar', who commands the unmanned systems forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin suggested that if a referendum call is not made by a certain time, leaders will consider it.
