A Utah woman was arrested on a charge of aggravated arson after setting fire to a church building the day before her scheduled wedding, authorities said.

Lenita Moreno, 25, was arrested on a charge of aggravated arson, according to officials. The fire occurred at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building in Kaysville, Utah, the day before her scheduled wedding. Five people were still inside the building when the fire was started.
The fire caused an estimated $108,000 in damage. Authorities said the fire was started using a tampon and other flammable items. Earlier that day, Moreno had stolen two to three cigarette lighters from an Ace Hardware store, according to police.
Moreno was charged with first-degree aggravated arson, retail theft, and providing false information to a peace officer. She also lied about obtaining a marriage license, authorities said. Initially, she identified herself as Tessa Moran to police. As of Tuesday, she was held without bail.
