A woman died in a hospital on Sunday, August 2, after being burned by her partner during his self-immolation in the Pas-de-Calais department of France.
The incident, which occurred approximately two weeks before the woman's death, involved a man in his thirties who embraced his partner and their three-month-old baby during the act.
The Béthune prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the incident.
