Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on international allies to provide ballistic missile interceptors to Ukraine, stating that no interceptors remain in the country's inventory.
Recent Russian strikes across Ukraine resulted in at least 17 deaths, according to reports.
Zelensky stated that Ukraine failed to intercept any missiles during the overnight attacks. He noted that the availability of ballistic missile interceptors could have saved lives during the night.
Delays by partners in supplying interceptors were causing horrific casualties and destruction.
Ukraine currently relies on systems manufactured in the United States as its only means to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles.
