Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of conducting a targeted drone hunt against civilians in the city of Kherson. Zelenskyy stated that a video showing a drone 'safari' being conducted by Russians against civilians in the city has shocked many.

Footage associated with the reports shows a drone approaching a man standing by a transporter, pursuing him, and exploding next to him.

Fatalities reported in Crimea and Black Sea region

In the Russian-annexed Crimean Peninsula, at least four people were killed after a Russian soldier opened fire. Mikhail Rasvoshajev, the Moscow-appointed Governor of Sevastopol, stated via Telegram that the soldier first shot and killed one military member before moving to the neighboring village of Khmelnitskoye, where he killed three civilians and injured three others. The suspect has been arrested.

Crimean Governor Sergey Aksyonov also reported that a Ukrainian attack on the peninsula resulted in three deaths and two injuries.

In the Black Sea region, Veniamin Kondratyev, the Governor of the Russian Krasnodar region, reported that three people were killed in Archipo-Ossipovka, noting that thirteen people, including minors, were injured by falling drone debris in the same location.

Attacks on infrastructure in Ukraine and Russia

In southeastern Ukraine, Olexander Hanscha, the head of the military administration of the Dnipropetrovsk region, reported that a Russian attack on a gas station in the Kryvyi Rih district killed at least three people, including an eight-year-old boy. Six others, aged between 20 and 60, were injured in the strike.

In the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, official reports indicate at least two people were killed in Russian airstrikes. Regional military administrator Ivan Fedorov stated via Telegram that eleven people were injured by the explosions of two glide bombs.

Within Russia, two people were killed as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks. In Engels, a multi-story residential building was damaged and two people were killed. Roman Bussargin, the Governor of the Saratov region, stated via Telegram that civilian infrastructure was damaged in both Saratov and Engels.

In the Samara region, the retailer Wildberries reported that Ukrainian drones attacked a logistics facility belonging to the company, causing a fire, though no injuries were reported.

Drone interception figures

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its armed forces intercepted and destroyed 320 Ukrainian drones during the night, affecting 19 regions. Moscow also stated it repelled 131 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions and annexed Crimea.
