Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has dismissed Ukraine's ambassador to the United States.
The dismissal was announced through an official decree issued by the presidency.
The leadership in Kyiv is currently lobbying Washington to obtain additional Patriot air defense missiles to intercept Russian strikes.
