Direct tram services to Tallinn Airport officially reopened on August 1, following a suspension that began in 2023 due to the construction of the Ülemiste train terminal and the Vanasadam tram line.

The restored service includes regular tram connections from Kopli and Tondi to both the airport and Ülemiste. As part of the service restoration, a new numbering convention was implemented, adding the letter 'T' to all tram line numbers.
