Google provided a preview of Googlebooks around May 2026, giving an early look at the hardware initiative. The preview came as the still-developing lineup was expected to launch in the fall or later this year.
Lenovo is among the hardware launch partners for the initiative, alongside ASUS, Dell, and HP. Leaked images shared by Android Headlines showed Lenovo laptops and a 2-in-1 tablet under the Googlebook branding, featuring a blue 'glowbar' light strip and other design cues.
The leaked Lenovo Googlebook devices included two laptop sizes and a 2-in-1 tablet with a magnetically attaching pen, a kickstand, and a keyboard resembling Lenovo's IdeaPad Pro Gen 2.
