Microsoft enabled a portion of the Xbox 360 and original Xbox libraries on Xbox One and Series consoles.
Between 2015 and 2021, Microsoft made approximately a quarter of the Xbox 360 library and around 6 percent of the original Xbox library playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.
Regarding these legacy titles, it was noted that publishers must provide permission for each game, set the price, and determine if the titles will be available via Xbox Game Pass or through standalone purchase.
