In March 2026, Nscale raised $2 billion in a Series C round, valuing the company at $14.6 billion. The round marked a significant milestone for the AI infrastructure company.

Nscale, founded in 2024, is a British vertically integrated AI cloud platform known as a 'neocloud'. It competes with companies such as CoreWeave and Nebius Group. Its investors include Nvidia, Nokia, Blue Owl, Dell, and Norwegian industrial firm Aker.

Shortly after the Series C round, Nscale agreed to acquire AI software startup Anyscale for approximately $1.65 billion, Bloomberg News reported. Anyscale's platform is built around the open-source Ray framework, and its entire team of about 200 employees will join Nscale.

Anyscale was valued at $1.38 billion in a Series C round.

In 2022, Anyscale, a San Francisco-based company that provides software for organizing and managing complex AI tasks across many computers, raised a Series C round that valued the company at $1.38 billion, according to reports.

The valuation came before the company agreed to be acquired by cloud infrastructure provider Nscale. Bloomberg News reported the deal price at approximately $1.65 billion, and Anyscale's entire team of about 200 people was expected to join Nscale as part of the acquisition.
