· date approximate Background
Apple removed the Telegram app from its store due to inappropriate content.
In 2018, both Telegram and Telegram X were temporarily removed from the App Store because of inappropriate content. Telegram founder Pavel Durov stated that the removal occurred because the platform had made such content available to its users.
The applications were re-accepted to the App Store after the related content was removed and safeguards were beefed up.
