Amazon has brought its Luna game streaming service to the Prime Video app, the company announced. The integration will first arrive on Fire TV devices in the United States and the United Kingdom.
With this move, Amazon hopes to turn Prime Video into a one-stop entertainment destination by adding games, borrowing a strategy from Netflix. Netflix has increasingly embraced party games over the past several years.
Amazon has also added free games to Prime Video that subscribers may not know they have. An Amazon gaming boss predicted that players will no longer need consoles in the future.
