Apple has released security updates for macOS Tahoe, macOS Sequoia, and macOS Sonoma. The updates include macOS Tahoe 26.6.1, macOS Sequoia 15.7.9, and macOS Sonoma 14.8.9.

According to Apple's support pages, these updates address a vulnerability in Screen Sharing.

The release on Thursday marks the second round of macOS updates issued in less than two weeks.

Shift in update frequency

Apple stated that it will no longer wait to include updates in upcoming scheduled releases. The company intends to reduce the time between the discovery of an exploit and the release of an update to address it.
