Orders for the BMW iX3 are approaching 100,000, according to the company. The milestone comes as BMW produced the 50,000th iX3 at its new plant in Debrecen, Hungary, nine months after series production began — the fastest ramp-up at a new BMW plant.

To meet demand, BMW added a second shift in February 2026 at the Debrecen plant. The iX3, BMW's first Neue Klasse vehicle, went on sale in September 2025, with deliveries beginning in March 2026. It quickly became the top-selling EV in its class in Europe in April, surpassing the Audi Q4 e-tron.
The BMW iX3 is available in two variants. The iX3 40 starts at €63,400 in Germany, features an 82.6 kWh battery and a rear-mounted motor with 316 hp. The iX3 50 xDrive starts at €73,925 in Germany, has a 108.7 kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive with 463 hp, and a WLTP range of up to 805 km (500 miles).

The iX3 can charge at up to 400 kW, adding 373 km of range in 10 minutes. It features a 17.9-inch central infotainment screen and a 43-inch Panoramic Vision display. BMW plans to launch 40 new or updated models by the end of 2027.
