Former NBA star and Basketball Hall of Fame member Chris Bosh was hospitalized with a pulmonary embolism in January of this year. Bosh stated that he experienced no warning symptoms prior to being hospitalized and remained in the hospital for one week.
I almost dropped dead pretty much and came back to life. I'm not joking.
Bosh indicated that he must take medication for the rest of his life.
Bosh's history with the condition dates back to 2015, when a blood clot in his leg moved to his lungs. A second blood clot discovery led to the end of his NBA career.
