Lanzante 95-59 makes its U.S. debut in production form at Monterey Car Week, serving as a road-legal homage to the 1995 Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR race car numbered 59.
Beneath its carbon fiber body, the 95-59 is built on a McLaren 750S chassis but has been extensively reworked across all design elements, including a new high-downforce aerodynamic package featuring a large fixed rear wing and a roof-integrated air intake — a direct callback to the enhanced aero package offered on the McLaren F1.
A more aggressive and purposeful stance
The car’s powertrain remains unchanged from its 2025 concept, now producing 850 horsepower from a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission.
Engine output increase from 740 hp in concept to production model
The interior is overhauled with a three-seat layout, mirroring the classic McLaren F1, where the driver sits centrally and a touchscreen serves as the digital instrument cluster.
The debut model on display features a bare carbon fiber tub with purple accents on the dashboard, seats, and steering wheel, and is finished in red — the standard color for the 95-59.
Lanzante has also introduced a new five-spoke centerlock wheel option and offers a wide selection of paint colors and interior materials sourced from Loro Piana.
The car includes a lightweight LM30 performance package designed to keep its weight under 3,000 pounds, while the BMW V12 engine used in the original F1 is not present.
Only 59 units of the Lanzante 95-59 will be produced, a number referencing the race car’s 1995 Le Mans entry number, with each estimated to cost well over $1 million.
