RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid after Paris St-Germain withdrew their interest, according to reports. The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international is set to move to the Spanish capital in a deal worth more than £100m.
Liverpool had an initial bid of £69m rejected in June, while PSG saw a final £102.5m bid turned down on Sunday. PSG then released a statement explaining their withdrawal.
PSG also said they will not engage in the inflationary and manipulative games of certain player agents.
Real Madrid's personal terms are said to be modelled on Jude Bellingham's contract, incentivised on performances. Key negotiators Jose Angel and Juni Calafat have been scouting Diomande for about five years, and their decision was not reactive to his World Cup performances.
Diomande was named the Bundesliga's young player of the season for 2025-26. He joined RB Leipzig from Leganes last summer on a five-year deal, having moved from an academy in the United States to Leganes in 2025.
Leipzig regard the interest in Diomande as extraordinary and find it difficult to reject, sources indicate.
