The Artemis II crew visited the European Space Agency (ESA) technical center in the Netherlands to meet the team responsible for the Orion European Service Module. The Artemis II mission is designed to travel around the Moon.

The Hera mission successfully upgraded its software while operating 140 million km away. The spacecraft is preparing to investigate Dydimos and Dimorphos later this year.

The FLEX and Copernicus Sentinel-3C satellites traveled to Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana in July. Both spacecraft are scheduled for launch in September.

Space telescope and ISS developments

The James Webb Space Telescope is marking four years of operation. Recent observations from the telescope included a new view of the galaxy Centaurus A.

On the International Space Station, Sophie Adenot inaugurated the European Enhanced Exercise Device 400 km above Earth. Adenot demonstrated rowing, rope-pulling, and strength training using the equipment.

Adenot also documented the ISS veggie chamber and the development of space seedlings. Additional footage captured from the cupola shows Earth's auroras.
