Google has released a new teaser video for the upcoming Pixel 11 Pro, offering a closer look at a circular multi-colored light on the device's camera bar. The clip was posted to the company's YouTube account and social media channels, hinting at what it calls the next obvious move.
The teaser is set to an instrumental version of Nas's track I Can and features a voiceover stating that people use their phones to access services such as Gmail, Maps, Search, Calendar, and Gemini. The narration pauses with the phrase It seems like the next move is... before revealing the new lighting element.
The video shows the circular light rotating like a pinwheel. While some reports refer to this feature as Pixel Glow and describe it as a camera flash, others treat it as an unexplained colorful circle potentially tied to notifications or Gemini. Google has not revealed any real details about how the element works.
Ask more of your phone.
This teaser is part of the Ask more of your phone campaign that began last year. It highlights a range of Google services including Docs, Drive, Meet, Chrome, Slides, Chat, Translate, Keep, Sheets, Play, Home, Nest, and Wallet. The video ends with the campaign's tagline.
Visually, the device in the teaser appears with a gold frame and a warmer back color, possibly indicating a Canyon colorway. The shot is stylized with a reflective shine around the metal of the camera bar, which is described as all glass in some reports. The camera bar contains three lenses.
Unconfirmed Specifications and Pricing
Rumors suggest the Pixel 11 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch display with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits and run on a Tensor G6 chipset. A leaked retail listing indicated the phone may be available in pink-beige, forest green, and gray-lavender colorways.
Due to increased demand for RAM, storage, and chips driven by AI applications, the Pixel 11 phones and Pixel Watch 5 are likely to be more expensive than previous models. It remains unclear what specific camera upgrades the Pixel 11 Pro will receive.
The formal unveiling is scheduled for the Made by Google 2026 event on August 12. At the time of the teaser's release, the event was two weeks away. This launch follows the release of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel 10a in early 2025, as well as Google's recent push into mixed reality.
