Herve Renard has been appointed as the Ivory Coast head coach for a second spell, according to a statement released by the Ivorian federation on Tuesday.
Renard replaces Emerse Fae, whose contract was not renewed following the World Cup.
Previous success in Africa
Renard previously led Ivory Coast to the African title in 2015. His coaching history in the region also includes leading Zambia to the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2012.
Age of Herve Renard
He previously served as an emergency replacement for Tunisia during the World Cup in June.
