Technical specifications for the Honor Robot Phone have been leaked prior to its scheduled official introduction on August 12. Digital Chat Station shared these details regarding the device. While the hardware details have emerged, there is currently no clear information regarding the global sales of the Honor Robot Phone.
Gimbal camera and cinematic features
The Honor Robot Phone is reported to feature a deployable gimbal camera system that is moved by specially developed micro motors. This system can track people by recognizing faces or dance to music. The gimbal camera is based on a 200-megapixel sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and a 1/1.28-inch sensor size.

The device also includes a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, and a 1/1.4-inch sensor size. Additional camera hardware includes 50-megapixel ultra-wide cameras. The phone is being prepared with the support of ARRI, a professional cinema camera manufacturer, and offers Log-C and LUT support.
Processor, display, and custom chips
The Honor Robot Phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The display is a 6.3-inch flat LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1216 × 2640 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,800 nits. The screen also features a special anti-reflective coating.
The device includes three custom chips developed by Honor: the C1, the E2, and the H1. The C1 chip is responsible for radio frequency boosting, the E2 chip manages energy, and the H1 chip handles image processing tasks.
Battery and memory configurations
The Honor Robot Phone is equipped with a 7,060 mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. Memory and storage variants will include 12 GB RAM with 512 GB of storage, as well as 16 GB RAM with 1 TB of storage.
