The MateBook Pro S features a 14.2-inch flexible OLED panel with a 3120 x 2080 resolution. The screen supports touch input, offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 1600 nits peak brightness, and a P3 color gamut.
The device is powered by the new Huawei Kirin XE90 processor. Huawei stated that the Kirin XE90 offers a 23% increase in single-core performance compared to the previous Kirin X90 model.
Huawei also reported that the Kirin XE90 chip provides 25% higher power efficiency and 40% faster NPU performance than the previous Kirin X90 model.
To manage heat, the laptop utilizes a redesigned cooling system consisting of dual fans and vertically directed graphene thermal material, which allows for 20W continuous performance.
Battery and Connectivity
The laptop is equipped with a 54Wh battery that promises over 18 hours of 1080p video playback. It supports 66W USB-C fast charging and 66W reverse charging.
For connectivity, the MateBook Pro S uses a four-antenna Wi-Fi 7+ system. Huawei stated that this system can provide long-distance network connections of up to 1,000 meters under suitable conditions.
