Hyundai unveiled the Neira Concept, a seven-seat electric minivan, at the 2026 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The Neira Concept is a rebadged version of the Kia Carens Clavis EV. While some descriptions identify it as a rebadged model with minimal styling changes, others characterize it as a near-replica with subtle differences in the wheels and front and rear design. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is already on sale in India.
The Hyundai Neira Concept is 4,550 mm (179.1 inches) long. Its interior seats seven passengers across three rows and features a digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch displays. The interior also includes black upholstery on the seats and Hyundai's signature four dots on the steering wheel.
Kia Carens Clavis EV specifications
The Kia Carens Clavis EV offers two powertrain options. The base version features a 42 kWh battery producing 133 hp (99 kW / 135 PS), while the flagship trim includes a 51.4 kWh battery producing 169 hp (126 kW / 171 PS).

The 51.4 kWh battery provides a maximum range of 490 km (305 miles). The 42 kWh battery offers an MIDC range of up to 251 mi (404 km). Both battery options can be recharged from 10% to 80% in approximately 39 minutes using a 100 kW DC fast charger.
In addition to the electric versions, the Kia Carens Clavis is available with 1.5-liter gasoline and diesel engines using manual or automatic transmissions. In India, the Kia Clavis EV starts from 12.85 Lakh ($13,400).
Production in Indonesia
Hyundai stated the Neira Concept will be produced locally in Indonesia starting by the end of 2026. Production is expected to take place at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (HMMI) plant in Cikarang, Indonesia.
