Lionel Messi has donated €80,000 toward the restoration of the Sierra Oeste region near Madrid. The donation follows significant damage in the area, west of the Spanish capital, caused by wildfires that destroyed land and property and forced residents to evacuate.

The funds will be directed toward rebuilding infrastructure, residential buildings, and agricultural holdings, as well as providing other forms of aid for local residents. Messi initiated the donation, with his representatives contacting regional authorities to coordinate the transfer of funds to the affected communities.
