The 2027 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric has become the quickest SUV ever tested by Car and Driver, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds. The electric SUV, which weighs 5,960 pounds, produces a combined 1,139 horsepower and 1,106 lb-ft of torque with launch control engaged.

According to Car and Driver, the Cayenne Turbo Electric out-accelerates the 1,070-hp Lucid Gravity Dream Edition to 60 mph by a full second. It is also 0.1 seconds quicker than the Lamborghini Revuelto. The SUV reaches 100 mph in 4.5 seconds and 150 mph in 10.1 seconds. It completes the quarter-mile in 9.5 seconds at 146 mph.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric stops from 70 mph in 140 feet, matching the braking distance of the Corvette ZR1, using optional $10,900 carbon-ceramic brakes. On the skidpad, it achieved 1.05 g, the best roadholding result for an SUV in Car and Driver history.

The base price of the Cayenne Turbo Electric is $165,350; the tested model cost $194,600.
