US-based Rezvani Motors has introduced the Beast X, a new hypercar built on the mid-engine layout of the standard Chevrolet Corvette C8. The vehicle features bespoke carbon bodywork and an all-wheel drive system paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The manufacturer states the Beast X is powered by a custom twin-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. Reports regarding the exact power output differ. While some sources cite Rezvani’s figure of 1,180 hp, others report a claim of 1,560 hp (1,582 PS) from the company.
Torque figures are also subject to varying reports. One source indicates the engine produces 1,736 Nm of torque, while Rezvani itself claims a output of 1,280 lb-ft (1,735 Nm).
Rezvani claims the hypercar can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 1.9 seconds. Other reports list the 0 to 100 km/h time at the same 1.9-second mark.
Design and Exclusivity
The Beast X features scissor doors similar to those found on Lamborghini models. The exterior design includes two separate hoop-shaped spoilers positioned side by side, a roof snorkel, and a central twin-pipe exhaust. Front fender vents resemble the style of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Production of the Beast X is limited to five units. The expected price is $500,000, a figure derived by adding $115,000 to the $385,000 base price of the standard Rezvani Beast.
For comparison, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X combines a twin-turbo V8 with front electric assistance to produce 1,250 hp (1,267 PS).
